Mrs. Defarge has been knitting for a long time and it seemed very curious. Everytime the knitting was mentioned the author used suspense. Later on we see that the knitting foreshadowed the people who were to die. She still is not fond of Charles Darnay and wants him to be executed. Mrs. Defarge has been informed that her husband has been traveling with a man named Jacques. Other than the knitting Mrs. Defarge is not reffered to alot but I think that she should be because that is a very important aspect of the book so far. Although i am confused because I thought that Madame was a girl but apparently that is Mr. Defarge??
