<description>It was great because that part was not predictable. Also Claudio did trick her in the beggining so it was only fair.

<description>The play was good and I think the two plans were of great success. I did not reaaly enjoy how they did it but it was okay.
That is a good connection with the Friar point and I believe that good always defeats evil. Friar is the good and always wins.
Great Job Guys!

<description>I was shocked but this play could be dictated and guessed, meaning it was very predictable.
Beatrice and Benedick need to be together, because their personalities are exactly the same.
I am not really sure what you are asking with this question. I think that she would just explain everything, and maybe go in to great depth.
Hero and Claudio did get married. Did you not read that part?
The play was not that bad it was very child like with some comedy to it.

<description>1) I think that Puck is a really important character to the play because without Puck there would be no plot story and he is the one who is mostly involved in the scheme of bringing the true lovers together.

2) I think that Demetrius does really love Helena but is deflected because of Hermia’s beauty. He is in love with Helena deep inside but just doesn’t realize it yet. So Puck, is there to speed up the process.

3) A theme of Midsummer Night’s Dream is that true love conquers all and no one should try and get in the way. Love is seen not with the eyes but with the mind is another meaning that love should not have anything much to do with beauty.

4) I like Romeo and Juliet more because it showed a purpose of the lovers meeting and ended in a tragedy showing everyone the theme of the play. Even though it didn’t have a happy ending it got a really powerful message through. So did A Midsummer Night’s Dream but the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet just proved what true love is and to what extent people will go to give up everything to get their true love.

<description>1) Shakespeare has Puck say these lines to denounce the play and end it happily. There are no hurt feelings for anyone and what’s done is done so they come and gather in one place tonight and become friends.

2) By this Puck means that everyone was in a dream like stance and whatever happened, happened for the better.
3) This passage helps to complete the play by just ending it as a final passage, and it is like saying a farewell ending.

4) Shakespeare used this passage as the last words of the play to remind the readers the moral of the play, and it is also a symbol of humor and a way to Shakespeare telling the readers that characters will live happily ever after.

5) The poem is a bunch of couplets that are put together for the reader to enjoy the story and its happy ending. When the couplets are placed together like that they create a great poem that expresses the story’s end.

-Kianat, awesome blog Jen!

		<description>I BLOGGED!

1. No, this question is obvious. They wanted to marry someone that was going to put them higher on the social ranks and also give them more money in their pocket. Thats how it was back then. People didn&#039;t marry for love, they married for money, which is sad. And if people still do that, then that is pitiful.

2. Well I don&#039;t neccessarily think that Shakespeare was going for that point of view. I think that he wanted us to see that Lucentio was willing to totally lie about his father to marry the girl that he loved. Kind of wierd, but thats how I see it.

3. I think that he was just enjoying that fact that he got to put Kate in her place since Kate has put him in his place forever. The leaves have turned and things have changed.

4. I do think Kate is happier, she finally realized that the things that she has been doing (her old ways) have been hurting her more than the people that she was doing them to. And if the two other women see Kate doing this, then maybe they will follow her demonstration and do the same.

5. UMM KATE and PETRUCHIO! DUH! I do think that they will all find their happy mediums though. They will work things out, don&#039;t worry Paula.

6. I don&#039;t think that it was important at all. It obviously wasn&#039;t important enough to continue it... ?</description>

<description>I think no one was suprised because Rosalind was acting a little strange and like I said in another comment, Rosalind pretending to be someone she&#039;s not had no bad effects on any of the marriages. I think people thought she was really weird after the fact, but no one was suprised because it was a really big deal.

<description>Nice poem Brian...but I don&#039;t think that the happy ending fits at all with Shakespeare. This is a comedy, but for everyone to live happily ever after just doesn&#039;t seem right for the play. It was kind of weird for everything to be absolutely perfect in this play after reading Romeo and Juliet.
