Nice poem Brian...but I don't think that the happy ending fits at all with Shakespeare. This is a comedy, but for everyone to live happily ever after just doesn't seem right for the play. It was kind of weird for everything to be absolutely perfect in this play after reading Romeo and Juliet.

Yes, I was thinking the exact same thing as all of you. (Just like always) So I don't really know what to add. I was trying to get everyone to say the ending was boring and uneventful, (of course) so there isn't much to add.

Yes, I did think that ending took away from the play. It was a comedy, so I knew nobody would die, but it was just blah. Everyone was so joyful and nobody got mad at Rosalind for being a jerk and sort of breaking poor Phoebe's heart. She fell in love with a woman, and she didn't know that.

nice poem.

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, that was amazing.

Anyway I thought the ending sucked, nothing went wrong, everything worked out and everyone was happy. There’s nothing wrong with a happy ending but it just wasn’t very good. Maybe it's just me but I think that having a rainbows and sunshine ending just makes a book seem kind of lame. I end up liking the books that make me think or I like the ones with a bad outcome because it just makes me angry, and any book that makes you feel emotion is a good book.
