Ok this quote is going to be between Beatrice and Margret.

BEATRICE
Benedictus! Why benedictus? You have some moral in this
  benedictus?
  MARGARET
Moral! No, by my troth, I have no moral meaning. I meant
plain holy thistle. You may think perchance that I think you
65 are in love. Nay, by ‘r Lady, I am not such a fool to think
what I list, nor I list not to think what I can, nor indeed I
cannot think, if I would think my heart out of thinking, that
you are in love or that you will be in love or that you can be
in love. Yet Benedick was such another, and now is he
70 become a man. He swore he would never marry, and yet
now, in despite of his heart, he eats his meat without
grudging. And how you may be converted I know not, but
methinks you look with your eyes as other women do.

In this quote Beatrice thinks that Margret thinks that she is in love with Benedick, my question is if she doesn’t like him why did she over react so much when Margaret was not even talking about him?  It seems to me that she is trying to hide her love for him because everybody knows that they do not get along.  Do you think that Beatrice loves Benedick?  Why do you think her attitude changed towards him?

Like I have been saying in all of my recent posts and comments, I think that these two actually love each other and they are just trying to hide it from the rest of the world. I think that she is defensive in this part with Margret because she doesn’t want anyone to figure out her secret. Maybe Beatrice is a little embarrassed that she likes Benedick because she doesn’t want to admit that she won’t be this macho independent woman anymore. I really don’t know what their problem is, but I think that they will end up falling even more deeply in love and then getting married and not caring what the rest of the world thinks.

I will agree with Brittany and I feel like I am repeating myself, but I do agree that the two are in love and have been for some time, for their previous interactions make it seem so. I do think that Beatrice’s feelings towards Benedick have changed publically only though. I think that because she knows he likes her, she feels more comfortable in more openly expressing her feelings and emotions. I think that since she is on the verge of having a marital relationship with him, she is a little more lady like, which I guess could be considered an attitude change. Other than that, there haven’t been any other huge differences taking place.

I think that Beatrice over-reacted because she does like Benedick, and it seems that she is veer protective. I definitely think that Beatrice and Benedick love each other, not only from Beatrice’s actions when she heard Marget “talking” about Benedick; but I also think that they love each other from how they talk to each other. This brings up Beatrice’s new way of talking to Benedick. She is now acting like a lady and talking sweetly and openly about her emotions. Whereas before she just yelled at Benedick and got into little fights with him.
