As You Like it Act III Brian Wawrzyniak
This Act of the book involves a lot of sneakery and general cloak and dagger Splinter Cell type operations going on. Rosalind is hardcore messing with Orlando by disguising herself like a boy. Jaques is stealthily creeping after Touchstone and Co. in the forest. In the Act, we see a lot of sneakery, but not a lot of playery. What I mean to say is in this section, not a lot is revealed about the characters. This act focuses purely on character to character interaction. My question for you is do you think that Rosalind (Name is familar) and Orlando get married? Do you think that their romance will blossom?

I don’t think that they will get married. Only because this play is a comedy, so of course something funny(not that any of it really is) is going to happen. I do think that they will fall in love even more so than they already are. Rosalind was sorts trying to lead him away from her but i believe that will only cause her to love him.

Well, I can’t find anyone else’s blogs, and I have to go to lifeguarding. This is truly a problem. I think that they will get married, but something will happen to break them apart. It will probably be ironic, because the play is a comedy. When Rosalind is trying to trick Orlando, the irony will probably be that he will love her more.

Uhm, Adam, just because this is a comedy, doesn’t mean something funny is going to happen. It means that nobody is going to die and it will have a happy ending. So, I think that Rosalind and Orlando will get married and have a happy life together. I think their romance will blossom once Orlando finds out that Rosalind is Ganymede, even though that is pretty sneaky of her.
