Post 4-Anil’s Ghost: Laurisa-connector
As connector of Anil’s Ghost, I am going to connect this to a movie that I saw before. I don’t really remember what it’s called but it had a lot to do with the same theme of this book. In the movie, there were many suspicious murders taking place and a forensic pathologist along with many archaeologists had to find the missing bodies and then figure out who or what was killing the people. In Anil’s Ghost, Anil is an archaeolgist who has to find the missing people and work with a forensic pathologist to find out just what was happening with all these murders, but most importantly who the murderer was.
Sorry Mr. Shank, I’m camping right now so I don’t really have time to write much more.
My question for you is what do you think of the outcome in the book? Was it what you expected?
That’s all of my blog… I know it’s kind of short…

I thought that the ending of the book was pretty good. I’m glad Sarath ended up being a good guy but it really sucks that they were never ever to catch the government officials responsible for the murders.
I think that this book reminds me a lot of the show Bones. The girl on that show is also a forensic anthropologist who is decisive and kind of cold but still likes to have some fun. And whenever I think of Anil I kind of think of her. I think that if the show Bones were ever to make a movie it would probably be similar to the plot of this book.

In contrast to Adam, I was upset that Sarath was a good guy. I though he was weird the entire book and I didn’t trust him. I was also upset that they didn’t find out who was killing all the people. There was really no point to reading the book if they didn’t catch the bad guys. This was an okay book because it showed how life was like for other people, but I like a good ending.

I didn’t write that, Adam did. I wanted to reflect on it, because he says quite a lot of good things. And it does quite a lot of good things, like make my comment seem twice as long as it actually is. Her goes: This show does remind me of Bones, I only saw one episode, and someone was burried alive underground. I did like the ending, like Adam said. I agree with him. I also agree that it was a bummer that the people responsible for the murders were never brought to justice. O well… Can’t win em all.
