To answer your question, I do not like this man. He seems very suspicious, and the fact that he hits on Cattie is just creepy. Also, it is not fair for him to enter his own tournament, because he has cheated Denn many times before, so he is known as a cheater. And what better a game to cheat on but your own? Even though she is most likely supposed to make Denn lose, I think she will go against everyone and make Denn win it all. I agree. I like the way that this story is set up. We have learned all the facts about everyone so far, and how the book was ending it seems that everything is going to come together in the end. Yes, of course, Cattie and Denn will become a couple. He won it in a poker game, where Denn was the victor. What I think of Artie is a typical "investor" as Denn would call it. He owns a lot of casinos which allows him to have a very lavish lifestyle. Also I think that if he wants to enter the tournament that is fine. Now if he cheats that is a different story. I think that we can all guess that this book will have a fairy tale ending. She will go back out with Denn, and she did have a choice. She could have easily gone off on her own as a dealer, but she is only realizing that now she has true feelings for Denn. It’s not that she needed somebody to get her poker games, so there is no question she has a choice. I do not really see the circle. There are some parts that are unexpected, but most is hinted to you by the author. Also I predict that they will be back together.
