<description>I think that All the Pretty Horses can easily relate to Romeo and Juliet like you said Paula. The two stories are similar because they are based around forbidden love. At this point, it seems that they will both end the same way with Grady and Rawlins being imprisoned at the end. Although it is not made clear for what, we can assume that it is for his affair with Alejandra. We must also keep in mind that Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy, and All the Pretty Horses is a novel, so it would be understandable if the two would have different endings. I believe that the end of the book will find John Grady and Alejandra in love, but unable to be together.

<description>Paula what a great connection! This is wonderful. I never thought about it that way, but I see it and it all makes sense. I am going to go along with what Kody said about when the boys are taken away, this is like when Romeo is banashed. However, I think that John Grady and Rawlins are going to be sent back to America. I believe that them being sent back to America is going to be the tragic ending for John Grady and Anjelina. It would be really cool if Anjelina went back to America with John.

<description>I think this is very much connected to Romeo and Juliet as you said and here is another connection to that. When John Grady and Rawlins are taken away that is like when Romeo is banished for killing Tybalt in the end of Act III.

However even though this story is so very much connected to Romeo and Juliet I do not think that it in tragedy. Actually I think they will live happily ever after.

No I think they were taken away solely because of stealing back the horse.
