Abbey-I like your what-if questions, but that shouldn't be it. Have something a little more grounded in the work too, so that your group has more to respond to.

Gracias,

That is a good question. John has no reason to risk his life for Blevins, but him doing it is what makes him a good person. I think he did it partly because he was simply looking for adventure. If i were in that position, i would like to think that i would try to save it. It's a hard thing to say when you aren't there, though. I could not just let Blevins to fend for himself, because he would never make it. I think that stealing the horse back would be the right thing to do, maybe a little fun to. The question is, will this decision turn out to be a bad one for the three?

Yea I would've definitely tried to steal the horse back. Although it may not have originally belonged to him, Blevins is the horses owner and those thieves had no right in stealing it. But I do agree with Kody. The boys shouldn't have split up. That was a really stupid move.

I don't know what I would have done. I would have been really scared. I am a scaredy cat! However, I still would have wanted my horse back! Maybe I would have dressed real cute and bribed them to give me the horse. Put on a female act. (: haha. I have to agree with Kody though. I would have tried to stay together. I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I were by myself. It's like the other person has your back, and you can trust them, and then you do the same for them.

Like the time when Blevin's horse was stolen? Would you have gone and stolen it back like the boys did? Or you would have just let them keep it?

Well if i were in the threes' position when they found Blevin's horse i probably would have tried to steal the horse back as well but i would not have split up no matter what. There is protection in numbers. However in the end of ths section John Grady gets what he wants so that part I would not have changed.

I think that everyone can say that they would make at least one decision differently than in the book. I, for example, would probably not have chosen to leave America in the first place because i am a different person than John Grady in the book. My answer is also a little biased, however, because i know that today Mexico is definitely not the best place to be. Other than that, i think i agree with his decisions, such as agreeing to let Jimmy Blevins join his group.

Could you give some specific situations or obstacles for this question?
