Brett - I see sort of see what you mean. Generally, if society remembers people, like Rosa Parks, for example, we remember her because of her efforts in the Civil Rights Movement. She and all the others involved in this were influential on society today, and helped change it.

Hope that clears things up a bit.

Hey! No problem! I was up until 10:30 on Friday and then really had to go to bed since I had to be at the school by 6:00 A.M. the next morning. I am just getting settled in at home now! Anyway, I agree with what you said about the quote. I also think it is saying that it doesn't matter if someone has passed for them to be recognized and appreciated for the achievements that that had reached in their lives. I also think that it is saying that people should be remembered long after they are gone, for they may have touched someone's life in an unexplainable way!

Well, I'm not really sure what the meaning behind this quote is, but I can kind of see where you are coming from Heather. At least we can gather that Isabella dies...

Im sorry, I didnt quite understand your interpretation of the meaning. But we don't always remember people, but peoples actions. Is that what you mean? If so, how does this relate to being influencial?

Please help me to understand you logic.
