The connection I made in this section was that when Lucie had to pick one of the three guys to marry it reminded me of the show Parental Control where the contestant’s parents don’t like their boyfriend/girlfriend so they have to go on dates with 2 new people. Then they choose between the new people and their boyfriend/girlfriend, which is a total of 3 people. This is alittle like lucie’s situation since she is choosing between 3 guys to marry. In the show the person looks for likeable traits to help them decide who they want to be with, and lucie also has to do this with Carton, Darnay and Stryver.
*This sorta a dumb connection, but do you guys agree?
*And which of the three do you think lucie will pickk?

Well, I think that on the surface this connection is sort of relevant, but when you look closer it doesn’t really apply that much to what is happening. For one, Lucie doesn’t even have a boyfriend. Also, of course Lucie is going to pick the one with the most “likeable” traits! But the whole thing with the three guys to pick from does connect to Lucie’s situation, a little.
As I said on Lauren’s post, I think that Lucie will pick Darnay. The reason I think this is because of his knowledge, job, and apparent care for the commoners. Check out my comment on Lauren’s blog for the supporting details because I really don’t feel like typing them all again. So anyway, I think that she will end up with Darnay.
Just a random thought, but wouldn’t it be funny if Lorry fell in love with Lucie, too? I don’t think that he will, but it would still be funny!

I agree with Erin, I see the connection that they have to choose, but yet I think it is a little more complicated. This person she will choose she will be spending the rest of her life with (Note: it is set in the 1700’s and I don’t think divorce was accepted). Where as on Parnetal Control it is just a boyfriend/girlfriend that you will not have to be stuck with for the rest of their life’s, unless they choose to do so.
At this time I think she will either choose Darnay or Carton, I said the same thing on Maddi’s post, but I think Carton has really opened up to her and is telling her things, and I think that she likes Darnay because he is knowledgable.
Erin it would be funny if Lorry would also fall in love with Lucie but I don’t see that happening because I think he is too much of a businessman. But yes it would be funny!
