Alex: One, less plot summary and more analysis of charater's personality and being. Two, way too many spelling mistakes and typos. Take your time and write well.

Julian: Why two responses. The first one contained a quite a few mistkes.

Responders: Don't just agree with each other and pat each other on the back. More!

'Tale of Two Cities' is a book full of symbolizm. Like Rebecca had said, while reading this book so many different events and symbols pop up that you have to be careful to not miss anything.

The title "Recalled to Life" may symbolize the idea that Dr. Manette is being "recalled to life" because he had just been in prison for 18 years. Also, this relates to the man in Mr. Lorry's dream, because he had been supposedly buried alive for 18 years. Typically, when one is dead, they are buried. So this man could be getting "recalled to life".

Lastly, I agree with Julian on his theory of the dream. The dream, along with a lot of other connections in the story, is trying to explain the setting and what has gone on in the story so far. Possibly, if anyone has thought about this, could the man from Mr. Lorry's dream be an allusion to a side of Dr. Manette that no one knows about?

Alex it was very important to pick Mr.Lorry. So far he is very important to the story. About the dream, this is a very important part of the story so i will explain it to you. In the dream Mr. Lorry meets this man who has been barried alive for 18 years. Then they talk about how the man has given up on being found and duggin up. This is an allusion to what happens next, with Dr. Manette and in jail. The dream was suposed to help you understand what has happened in the book so far. Hpefully you read this and you can understand the book more.

Alex this Mr. Lorry was a very important character to pick. Nice job To answer your first question Mr. Lorry has to know what that letter meant to respond to it like that. I think we will learn the importance of the letter latter in the story.

About the question that You guys have been discussing. The dream is the authors way of createing an allusion.
It like a preview to what was about to happen. Almost every detail about the dream is the same as the situation with Miss Manette's father.

About your next q., i think that Mr. Lorry is a nice man.I think that he realizes the importance and will handle the matters.

About your last question, it is hard to anwser because the state of Dr. Maneete

You really have to be a carful reader when reading A Tale of Two Cities because there is so much going and you don’t want to miss anything. Alex brings up a great question that we have been discussing though out our blogs; does anyone really understand what Lorry's dream meant? I have an idea that I think is correct, Mr. Lorry is bringing Miss Manette to her father who has been imprisoned for 18 years back to the outside world. In Lorry's dream he dug up a man who had been buried alive for 18 years. His dream simply symbolizes what is about to happen the next day.

Dr. Manette seemed to be happy to see his daughter, I think he is a very genuine man who can't wait to start his life over again.
Mr. Lorry is a very good friend of the Manette family. I trust him to take care of business and do what Dr. Manette asks of him.
